Bearing and Wear Resistance and High Strength at Working Temperatures to 400°F (204°C)
Drake HTT-400BG Performance
Drake HTT-400BG thermoset composite shapes provide exceptional bearing and wear resistance and strength at working temperatures from -40o F up to 400o F (-40o C to 204o C). The self-lubricating material has better chemical resistance than many standard thermoset composites. It also resists high edge and shock loads. With its minimal water swell, it provides dimensional stability in hydro and marine equipment components exposed to high temperature conditions.
Produced from a woven synthetic fibers and a high temperature thermoset resin, Drake HTT-400BG also has PTFE and molybdenum disulfide (MoS2 solid lubricants uniformly dispersed throughout its composition. These additives provide a low coefficient of friction and significantly improve bearing and wear performance of components under dynamic loads.
